Who knew PR was such a hot topic among bloggers?
After all, it’s not unusual to hear bloggers gripe (legitimately) about PR pros who bombard them with mass emails for off-topic story pitches. It often seems that the only time bloggers like to think about “PR” is when they’re referring to “page rank.”
That’s why I was surprised to see that public relations will be such a hot topic at BlogWorld & New Media Expo 2010, which will be held October 14-16 in Las Vegas.
Attendees at the world’s largest conference for bloggers will have an opportunity to choose from many PR-related panels on topics ranging from generating publicity to crisis communications.
I’m honored to be part of the PR contingent and look forward to moderating a panel featuring some of the smartest PR pros around (see “Getting Noticed: Building Your PR Plan” below).
